5.24.2 Hardcore FAQ
As playing a Hardcore character will in many cases be an entirely new experience with its own pitfalls and mechanics to navigate, we've composed the following file to answer some common questions. Q: If my Hardcore character dies because of lag, can you resurrect them? A: No, we will not revive Hardcore characters under any circumstances. Q: I died to an aggressive NPC/AOE damage/a teleportation gone wrong/made a mistake/typo/other accident, will you resurrect them? A: No, we will not revive Hardcore characters under any circumstances. Q: If I die while duelling in the Sect Arena, will I come back to life? A: No, Sect deaths are true deaths and leave no corpse. We strongly advise against participating in Sect as a Hardcore character. Q: I died and my corpse was accidentally destroyed by a skill, or accidentally offered to a God. Can you resurrect me? A: No, we will not revive Hardcore characters under any circumstances. Q: I died because someone killed me in a situation that is against the rules. Can I be resurrected? A: No, move on and enjoy your next character. If you feel it was an egregious situation, file an ISSUE against the offending player and we will make a decision on whether to take any action against them, but we will not restore your character. This is a risk you take. Q: My Hardcore character had promo items with tradein value when they died. Are they included in my Hardcore Credit Pool? A: No. You will need to have traded them in prior to death to ensure they roll over. Q: I had a rare or limited relic on my Hardcore characters, is it possible to transfer it to my next one? A: No, and we don't recommend investing in relics on Hardcore characters due to their value not transferring. Q: I've grown to love my Hardcore character, and I'd like to make them permanent. Can this be done? A: No, enabling Hardcore mode is irreversible with no exceptions. Q: Can my dead hardcore characters with hardcore credit value get deleted, I want to reuse the name. A: No. Q: I never purchased anything on my active hardcore character and they were deleted due to inactivity. Will my next hardcore character get some of their daily credits? A: No. The deleted hardcore character will not contribute to your future hardcore credit pools. Q: Can other players tell if my character is a Hardcore character? A: No, and you can only find out yourself in-character via use of the Soul Index, or by dying(temporarily) and failing to approach the Soul Mirror. Q: Can Hardcore players buy castles and use the player housing systems? A: No. Q: Can I have more than one Hardcore character at once on my account? A: No, there is a limit of one active Hardcore character per account at any one time.
