We accept your apology. It is our regret that Constable Beck issued as wide and sweeping an order as he did, forbidding the full extent of your council - whose youth and learners have long enjoyed sanction in our village and our lands.

We especially regret the use of inflammatory language with regard to you and your folk, including "talls", "talljobs", "tallies", and other disparagements upon your height.

Your people are free to participate in the Gorshire election and in other local affairs, so long as our autonomy and our politics are fully respected.
