My Lord has bid me write on His thoughts.

His care for the mortal world has diminished. If ever we, His Order,
were tools to Him, we are more so now. We are useful only insofar as we
serve Him. Our squabbles, our emotions, our ethics and our morals - if
these interfere with our service to the Lord, then we are expected to
set them aside or retire from His Order. The tenets of Truth and Loyalty
are foremost in His mind, but predominating above them is a new
realization.

Survival.

Our Lord will have us consider the value of self-sacrifice. For every
martyr that is remembered, there are a hundred corpses who died
unnoticed, their causes and emotions forgotten shortly after their
burial. Ideals die with the dead. Who among you holds the Ankyreans in
high regard? Once, they thought themselves greater than the Gods. Now we
look upon them and their actions with derision. Imagine the next Epoch,
when and if the invaders have felled us all. Our Cities will be but
wrecked ruins, the invaders ruling Sapience, our skeletons shattered
dust borne upon the wasted winds... and all of us are dead for our
belief in our respective ideals. I am not implying cowardice, nor am I
implying that we are incapable of fighting. But none shall remember if
we die, as so many seem intent on doing.

Survival.

Truth has died twice and returned twice. Its value is undeniable, its
strength unmatchable. But even when Truth appeared dead, its essence
lived on. Just as our Lord has endured throughout the centuries, we,
too, must endure, to see His will done and to remain in opposition to
the constant, corruptive force of Lies. Martyrs are only remembered if
there are people to remember them. These invaders look on us as gnats.
Those of us who choose to die fighting? The invaders will not view us as
worth remembering. -We- must remember, and we cannot do this if we throw
ourselves blindly against an indomitable foe.

Survival.

The Lord will not hesitate to dispose of you if you do not serve His
needs. The Lord will view each and every one of us as expendable. If you
are useful, remain thus. If you are worthless, seek worth, or else He
shall abandon you. For His survival is first and foremost, of paramount
importance.

If we must be uncompromising, so shall it be. If we must bend and break
our morals to serve, so shall it be. Only loyalty to our Kin and the
bounds of Truth shall constrain us. In all other things, we are
unfettered.

Survival.

You are invited to join us, and aid us in the goal of self-preservation.
The Lord will accept your service. In following Him, you shall know the
Truth about the invaders - the full Truth, that none of you are as of
yet privy to. Understand that these are the Lord Truthseeker's new ways,
and so long as you do not serve Undeath or deceit, there is a place for
you among His ranks.
