Hello, Aetolians!
During these troubled times it is important that we remember the
importance of celebration and entertainment in order to keep our spirits
boosted. With the Three Hundredth year of the Midnight Age almost upon
us, I am pleased to announce the return of the Midnight Carnival to
provide you exactly that!
The Carnival has expanded and changed since you all last saw it fifty
years ago. I am pleased to announce we now have four new attractions
that will test your different attributes. They are:
Outsmart the Grook - Test your will against our very own Master
Magician, Tythis!
Test Your Might - Prove your strength and win a ticket!
Whack-an-Imp - Are you dexterous enough to wallop them?
Outdrink the Dwarf - Can you slam faster than Boboris, the Ale Master?
Every win at these attractions will reward you with one of three
tickets, based on your performance. These three tickets, in increasing
order of worth, are a black ticket, a crimson ticket and a golden
ticket. You may turn the tickets into Grekzil for a chance at a prize.
In addition to these new attractions, we are proud to have two new shops
for you to peruse: 'Riches for Rags' and 'The Still Visage'.
Of course, no Midnight Carnival celebration is complete without the
events! We have an exciting line up for you, which will be posted in
full once the details have been finalized. You can expect amongst them a
treasure hunt, a quiz, multiple lotteries, a storytelling contest, a
scavenger hunt and many more popular events that you have come to enjoy!
While celebration and revelry in this time of strife is important, I
must remind you all that you should never forget the situation at hand.
Do not let the merriment slip into a complacent attitude, and remain
ever vigilant for renewed signs of invasion.
However, enough of the dire warnings. As always, you can find the
Midnight Carnival a little bit west of Delos along the Prelatorian
Highway. Congratulations on a prosperous three hundred years,
Aetolians, and enjoy yourselves!
