Voices

I can hear her voice
the laugh that invariably makes me smile
the way it flows over me and soothes me
Her deeper understanding, like no other..
Time passes and passes, yet..

I can still hear her voice
The name that I must bite back
The name that is always there
Just on the surface, yet to afraid to say out loud.

Would she know that after all this time, I hide
Does she know I love her?
Does she know I hear her?

I can still hear her voice..
I was given the chance to fight my fear
Does she know Im tired of running now?

I can still hear her voice
I can still feel her embrace
But does she know that I still love her?

Does she know, I hear her voice every night
The anguish, the pain sharing my nights
I close my eyes, hoping the day hurries..
But, even then I still hear her voice..

But, even then I still hear her voice..
but its her I think of, its her I feel lost without
Yet, her absence I feel and remember her voice

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Lleian, in the year 112 MA.
