The Snow

Written by: Gwendolyn De'vyen, Slyphian Priestess

Addressed to: Everyone

A delicate snow can lay down now to cover the wastelands of life
Serenity only the befallen can know.
Each delicate flake touching
Cool and knowing

Erasing all those emotions that flooded the world with summer's glory
Flurries down in torrents of white
Oblivious centre of the storm
Forgetfulness that only the broken wish for.

Dusting the world in your artifice
To forget the beauty and splendour of all gone before
Freezing these memories inside
With regrets that only the abandoned can fathom.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Arios, in the year 149 MA.
