Let me clarify the after effects for participating in a raid.

- If you are participating in a raid, the defenders can feel free to
kill you later, even if you are just sitting their healing attackers
and never hit anyone.

- If you attack a raider, they are free to finish you off then, or at a
later time. Make sure you really want to be involved before you jump
into the fray.
