4.13.1 Tekal
A Tekal is a mortal of extreme experience who has transcended their former race to take on the form of a nearly perfect mortal being. Their name derives from an ancient word for 'Hollow One', and is a reference to their choice to let their form be uninfluenced by the struggle between life and death. The reward for their diligence in perfecting themselves is a superb physical form that enables them to resist many attacks, as well as quick reflexes, both mental and physical. Note: The race you are when you ascend to Tekal will become your Heritage. For more information look at HELP HERITAGE Once a Tekal reaches the level of 100 they may choose to become either Azudim, Yeleni or Idreth. For Yeleni and Azudim, one must INSTILL ESSENCE OF <LIFE|DEATH> IN MYSELF. For Idreth, one must TRANSCEND SELF. In addition to the above, there is a system for obtaining bonus racial skills as a Tekal which you can find in HELP RACIAL SKILLS. Tekal can also access their Haven, which is a space that is both willpower and yet tangible. HELP HAVENS will explain more about them. Every 25% experience above 100 will give a Haven Point, which can be used to expand the haven or be converted into a raceskill point to invest into the raceskill choices. To monitor this: HAVENS SHOW - Lists your haven rooms and how many points you have remaining. HAVENS CONVERT <x> TO SKILL POINTS - Converts the designated number of haven points into race skill points. This cannot be undone. HAVENS on its own will return the full list of syntaxes.
