The Howling is a regular occurrence, marked by a distant, howling noise audible from any point in Aetolia. In Aetolian terms, the Howling occurs once per week - in real-world terms, it occurs once every twenty-four hours at 0:00 GMT. Organizational logs reset to a new day at this point, and items with zero weeks of usefulness left decay into nothing.
