20.9.5 Eftehl Island

Residing in the waters a fair travels south from the mainland, the island was named after and settled on by the Eftehl family who lived there for many years in a castle atop the cliffs. It is only recently that adventurers began to explore it after word was put out by Trond Eftehl, the son of the lord and lady of the castle, advertising to all who would assist that he had not heard from his parents in many years. Currently, it has been overtaken to some degree by a band of pirates that have set up an encampment near the beaches and many lagoons that dot the southern landscape, which are home to a number of tropical animals. Legend has it that the occupants of the castle still reside within it from beyond the grave.
