Our Magical Future

To all who dwell beneath Her skies,

Word has spread of the Sky's Directive - of glorious proclamation of the First of All Magical Beings - of She Who has Subsisted Through All of the Ages. Yet, compliance has been minimal. Indeed, some fools boast of their trivial waste of the world's dwindling supply of magic merely to spite Her for daring to take action.

Make no mistake, Sapience. It is not the word of the Sun Drinker that shall deprive you of your magic. It will leave you whether you wish it to or not.

The magic of the Prime has long been used in excess, and the Sun Drinker's spurring to action should be evidence enough that its state is dire. If no action is taken, then none shall remain at all. This much is certain.

Thus, I ask you:
Consanguine of Bloodloch, what will you do when the magic within your very Blood that fuels your immortality falters?
Crusaders of Enorian, where will your faith rest when your Grand Flame sputters out?
Wardens of Dia'ruis, who will you honor when your links to your Lirathyar are severed completely?

A great many of you rely on magic for not only your way of life but your religion and your purpose. And its supply is not endless.

The First of Dragons willed Herself into existence in the beginning of time by bending magic to Her will. She has watched through all of the world's ages and Her knowledge and ability to combat this threat are second to none.

Through the Sky's Directive, we will preserve our magical future. The alternative is not an option.

Submit your magical activities to Her will and your magic will persist eternal. Or do not, and pray that we succeed in spite of you. Her patience and generosity are not boundless, and we will remember those who stand against us.

In service to the Throne and its Guardian,
