Tyranny

As a young Indorani, I learned a long time ago that it is not hope that
makes us strong and gives us power, but rather despair. It is through
despair that the willingness to take action and fight is achieved. It makes
us more determined, more powerful and certainly more dangerous. Many did not
understand this, it was lost in the foolish belief that hope was their
strength.
This is just an example of how perception of one's self is often an illusion
created by our minds to satisfy the need to feel complete and valorized.
Now years.. no centuries later, I come forward with another axiom. Today I
want to speak of the Hegemonist and destroy any false perception of some
among you that His Tyranny produces a weak, subdued person. Those who strive
hesitantly and irresolutely in their endeavors will achieve nothing. They
will simply continue with their delusion and misconception of strength. One
cannot look to others for their strengths, it comes from within or look on
circumstances to cast blame. And certainly not blame Tyranny for our
failings.
It is through adversity that the strong emerge! Through Tyranny we can be
tempered and sharpened like a fine blade or we can be a beaten sword and
never really attain the sought after cutting edge. The choice is in our
hands! Just as despair bolsters a willingness to take action, so does
Tyranny.
This applies not only to the combat savvy among us, but to everyone. Tyranny
will hone your entire existence, a painful experience to discover yourself
anew. But pain is also a motivator to take action and conquer the obstacles
in your path. The scholar will use their quill like a weapon or as an
instrument to spread His message. The artist will produce unique manifests
of their talents. At every turn, there is an opportunity to influence the
world around you and cast your shadow in His name. His will leaves no one
unaffected and unchanged. In His realm there is no such thing as second
place, there is only victory!
Let this missive serves as an attestation to those who want to surpass their
self-imposed boundaries, to become more than you ever thought possible. To
be able to rise and grab what is right in front of you. To give yourself to
Him, to place Him before anything else, to hunger for power in His name. It
is an agonizing journey, but the worthy will be transformed to become truly
one of His.
