It is with a heavy heart that I announce on behalf of Tandalay that he is ending his campaign for the vacant seat upon the Council of Five. Though he had high hopes of stimulating the city's economy, a combination of factors forced him to withdraw from the race - not the least of which was ensuring there was an adequate caretaker for his beloved establishment. He has asked me to assure you that he will be turning his time towards community efforts and business expansions, as well the refinement of new recipes.

With that unfortunate bit of news out of the way, we would like to inform you that the debate draws near. The remaining three candidates have had speakers selected and these individuals should receive a letter or message in the coming days outlining expectations and a good time to discuss in depth their platform and beliefs. We will pass along the date of the debate to your Grand Library, as they seem exceptionally talented at circulating crucial information to all of you.
