Rekindled,
I have seen You at Your new forge, the workbench of Creation, and where our future might be shaped, or else quenched, by it. It is my hope to not disturb Your work significantly, but I would not write this now, and so publicly, if it were not critically important.
Though it feels a lifetime ago - before the chasm between our people were formed - I once asked a boon of You. I gave something to You: a broken weapon, entrusting the Forgemistress of unparalleled mastery with a precious gift and a promise to reforge.
I understand the chasm that has opened, and the roar of Your vengeful fire is surely terrible. I am certain that You would have fought Your Brother, its true owner, alongside Truth and Change had You been on that boat too.
Yet, You are no thief.
I ask for its return, in whatever state it may be. And if it is a matter of payment, I stand prepared to pay Your price for it.
