Declaration
Written by: Pentarch Kalena Emerson
Date: Wednesday, June 21st, 2023
Addressed to: Everyone
In an effort to sanction the former city-state of Bloodloch in response to its dishonorable and egregious display of diplomatic treachery, the Hammer of Dawn declares the following:
o The Hammer of Dawn will no longer recognize Bloodloch as a formal city-state. What was formerly known as Bloodloch is now nothing but a band of thieves.
o The Hammer of Dawn shall not negotiate with thieves and bandits, for they possess no power of their own. They show no remorse and thus deserve no mercy besides that of fire and steel.
o Those foolish enough to throw their lot in with such criminals shall no longer be permitted to shop within the Hammer of Dawn.
o The one known as 'Tyrant' (Asaraii) and her 'Warleader' (Borminchia) shall remain enemies of the Hammer of Dawn forevermore, their crimes of treachery and thievery a permanent stain upon their reputation for all time.
o This sanction shall continue until Asaraii and Borminchia are removed from all positions of power and appropriate reparations are made to the Hammer of Dawn, for no sane city-state or diplomat could take any offer or claim of theirs in good faith.
The city-states of Enorian, Hammer of Dawn and Spinesreach, Dragon of the North mutually agree to the terms of this declaration, though it is held by no binding agreement aside from common sense.
For those whom would seek to show pity and mercies to the band of thieves, know this: The Tyrant, Asaraii, writes deals in poisoned ink while also declaring to the world that she makes no deals. The Warleader, Borminchia, hides behind the military might of other city-states willing to sacrifice their morals to fight a war that does not belong to them. May they know the measure of their folly and not soon forget the disgrace they brought upon the once Empire. For so long as you call these two your leaders, your entire Empire shows that it will bear the weight of their crimes and accept these as victories worth celebration.
