So Called Tyrant,
What a tangled web you weave when first you should learn to deceive. I am happy to point out to you all the fallacies of your negotiation tactics:
First, let us state that you negotiated nothing, and let your mouthpiece of a War Leader do the talking. This is what was offered:
"You will not be able to fight through our armies. And if you attempt to, then you will see your city conquered. We offer terms that return your territories to you, but limit your Dejaani shrines to remain outside of Bloodloch territory. We limit your army as we would request a 100 week surrender status. And the penalty to break the treaty would be 40 million gold. These are negotiable terms."
Please feel free to explain to me and the rest of Sapience how that entitles us "to be free to work with our troops." I know this is futile, because it cannot be handwaved or explained away, I keep records and I am happy to share.
Next, lets address my "lust for war". These attempts to strongarm us came while Bloodloch AND Duiran had loaded troops into Jaru and outside the Landward gate, while teamed up together and attempting to raid Enorian via the Jaru gate. If you have forgotten, please recall the dulcet tones of Xavin's voice that swiftly ended yours and some of our lives. He's got quite a lovely singing voice, no? But I digress!
Next we were told, "Frankly, with your placement of Dejaani shrines in our territories of Arbothia, Jaru, and Tainhelm, repeatedly, and in Saluria, we should simply begin the war now." As I mentioned in my earlier post of your tragic shortcomings, the Hegemonist Himself declared that shrines were not part of the treaty, and would not be.
It was only then that you decided to speak up and pretend to be a leader, and tried one last time to force us into your demands. The Hammer of Dawn spoke in unison and loudly declaring that we would not give into your attempted subjugation. With this, you broke the word of respectable leaders in some attempt to make yourself and your sham of an Empire relevant, hiding behind Duiran's militia. Though I cannot help but wonder how your newfound allies would feel knowing that it was not that long ago that Bloodloch tried to renegotiate our treaty - to war Duiran. A renegotiation that we declined.
You mention a treaty that you sent perhaps a day ago as if it was some godsend to Enorian. Your delusions of grandeur are quite pitiful, and I'm certain that your attempts to cling to relevancy will fizzle out when your Empire finds its neck beneath the boot one of the three cities you have betrayed. You and your War Leader have ensured that all of Sapience knows not to treaty with you, that you cannot be held to your word, and that you are nothing more that cave rats scurrying about, bleating loudly and beating their chests when they've become less than nothing. What you do in the dark always comes out in the Light.
Perhaps you should find that mirror you were talking about, and take a long hard look. Realize that you have shamed the names of the Leaders before you, the Empire before you that achieved merit on their own terms and did not hide behind another. Realize that the failure and shame of Bloodloch to all of Sapience, falls solely on -your- shoulders.
Repent or Burn,
