You have made it very well and clear that nobody walking upon this plane should trust you when it comes to treaties and negotiations.

No matter what you sent, at all, why would anyone believe you? You broke the last treaty you had, and were planning to do so well before your warmaster was attacked. Your warmaster was attacked -because- they admitted your intent toward the Hammer, even as we waited for negotiations to begin. Even as you led the Hammer on.

You can bark all you'd like, mutts often do. Just remember -you- did this. Your word, the word of the Empire, the word of your Divine who Themselves weighed in on the treaty you decided to piss upon, means nothing. You would simply walk it back when it is convenient for you.

Or, perhaps, when you are fearful enough.
