Foolish Misconceptions

Sibatti,
If you think I throw accusations of Corruption around easily, you are sorely mistaken. And if you think one who was immersed in Corruption does not see the beginning signs of it clearer than one who thinks themselves, apparently, immune to such, you are a bigger fool that I would have ever guessed. It is because of my past that you should trust me when I say I see your Spiral imminent.
You say there is no greater enemy yet, you willfully
throw your lot in with those very threats. More than that, you joined in partnership with those who have expressed every intention to destroy you against former allies who have bled and died beside you. You may make excuses for you and your kin as much as you want, Sibatti, but that is where Corruption begins. 'We do this because we have to' turns into 'We have done it before with little to no consequence.' You gave into Fear. You gave into Malice. You are well on your way down Her spiral. And if you think this will not corrupt Dia'ruis, it is already lost.
And you are right, Sibatti. In my life, I have failed many times. The difference between myself and Duiran, however, is I own my failures. My mistakes. I grow from them. You? You make excuses, only to repeat them again and again. You listened to your Spirits before, and attacked Sterion. This directly led to Ohlsana's forces entering our lands. And it seems you have learned nothing, as you continue to do the same even now. Mistakes are okay. A pigheaded refusal to learn from them another thing entirely. Claim to be the heroes if you wish. The champions of Nature. We all know the truth of what you really are.
