Failure

Your perspective is warped, to reduce Dia'ruis to some plaything to be manipulated according to whim, when in truth it is a wellspring of existence that demands respect and balance. Perhaps it is because of this misconception that you throw accusations of corruption so lightly. Perhaps it is because it is impossible to unravel the tangle of whispers of how easily you, yourself, have immersed yourself in and around Corruption that I take you about as seriously as I would a Spirean's claim of honesty.

But even you, Qizzeke, are not beyond this chance for understanding and enlightenment. Your sight is weak and diluted when compared to the triocular wisdom of Srahda. It is She whose gaze pierces through the shroud of time, peering into the myriad paths sprawling across this tapestry of existence. Srahda beholds the essence of what is, what was, and what could be.

There is no greater enemy to Dia'ruis, and by extension, Her Great Oak, than those who have spurned the Cycle - of equal sin are Vampire, Akkari, and Ivoln's undead. To cower at the thought of proximity contagion, as if to be sneezed on would infect us with their curse, is to shrink away from the only duty we have left to them: to guide them back into the Rhythm from which they have strayed. Remember this - we do not serve your fear, but the needs of Dia'ruis.

Unlike you, they are not beyond the reach of the Cycle. Our path is treacherous, misunderstood by many, including yourself. Yet, with steadfast resolve and unwavering belief, we have danced the intricate waltz of guidance, entwining wayward souls back into Her embrace; it is especially poignant that I pen this reply to you with the precious memory that one such wayward soul in recency was Corruption's favored Adherent. Just as winter gives way to spring, so too can the chill of their existence be warmed by the promise of dawn.

Duiran has earned many marks, for better or poorer, in the acts that it has wrought, masterminded, or participated in. But failure? I would look inward, Ayastia.
