In one statement, you call Spinesreach a theocracy and in the other you call yourself a meritocratic society, but you cannot be both. In simpler words, the Dragon's newest Ambassador cannot properly determine what it is their government is truly defined as; isn't that disappointing?

You speak of zealotry, of savagery, and of cruelty from the other nations but let us not forget: Spinesreach has them all within her boundaries too. They are simply hidden away from view, mired beneath the folds of scientific research that fuels the city's progress forward.

If you pursue ascendancy, then do not deny what you practice, at the very least. Your Regent certainly does not.
