In negotiations with the Dark Mother and Her Voice for the release and freedom of a former Corrupted's child, a deal was struck. A statue of Her likeness has been erected within the Templar Chapel, flamed, and to remain until it crumbles to dust. She has upheld Her end of the deal, with the release of the child, and so we have upheld our end by placing this statue and penning this missive, informing the entirety of Sapience of its existence.

As a show of good faith, I have sworn to Her Voice that I will personally escort her periodically to the Chapel to visit and ensure the existence of the statue remains intact.
