[This notice is written in Aetolian language but letters reflect a more archaic form]

Lycurgus,

For the sake of the barnacles eating my face! You are as verbose as the late Magister Shachalai!

Though the way you portrayed me, made me almost gut myself with the letter opener residing upon my study table, for that I would like to congratulate you.

Yet, even a senile old man such as myself can see the unreliability and unsustainability of your bounty. So take my advice to your heart and enjoy your life to fullest without my scrutiny:

Lay off the booze and weed.

Under moon and star,
-Kalak Vaelinos

[Three crescent moons circling a six-pointed star is depicted here as a signature]

Penned by my hand on Quensday, the 16th of Lleian, in the year 474 MA.
