Think about it

Mortal souls of Sapience,

it is true that Corruption has once again spread like a vengeful plague,
infecting with enough virulence to draw its Mistress, the Dark One, into
our awareness. Consider the state of your surroundings. Are there doubts
among your comrades, a loss of direction or purpose? Has infighting or
squabbling broken out, friends and compatriots turning on one another?
Do you fear for your position or your livelihood because of the greed
of your neighbors? These are dark times in which we live, and the source
has made Herself known. This rise in corruption should be considered a
direct assault on those who suffer it, but Her followers will call it a
gift. You are all blessed by the grace of Lady Chakrasul, and thus
rotten to the core.

Is that the world you call home? Leaders should come by their positions
honestly, and serve their posts justly. Novices should be counted as
family, not commodities. The supposed strength that lies in one's most
selfish desires is the flexing of pride as a cover for shame. It is
easy to sate only one's own needs, and such a path fosters weakness.
Indeed, the whole structure of such an order can only be based in
intimidation and oppression. If you wish to be a slave, to be abused
and taken for granted, manipulated and belittled, then by all means
seek out a representative of Corruption.

If you want to know what faith convicts me to write this, what fire
fuels my boldness in assuring you there is a higher way, I invite
you to the Congregation of Lady Auresae, where nothing is hidden.
How long can you live on tainted water? And how strong could you
be if you drank from a pure spring?

In Faith,
Fierzha McCloud
