Greetings Sapience,

As most of you will be aware, following the devastation caused to the
city of Ashtan following its invasion, the people of the city have taken
to refuge in a camp within the Liruma.

Following meetings within our group, the majority have decided that they
wish to retain their identity and values as true Ashtani, and therefore
for the time being at least, the camp will serve as our home, and the
MGA clan previously used to co-ordinate our city's business activities
will now become our organisational clan. All survivors of the tragedy
will reside within this for the purposes of replacing our regular
channels of inter-city communication, and to provide shopkeepers and
such with a set group through which we can be identified.

Within the camp..

Our shops are all open for business, and business will continue as per
usual. The Misty Market, our former city shop, will also carry the
commodities we managed to salvage as the evacuation order was issued,
meaning supplies of wood, steel, gold, silver and such should all be
available off the shelf.

Ashtan itself may have an uncertain future but her people stand strong.
I consider myself to have been lucky, not to have have held the position
or title as Overseer, but to have served what I consider to be one of
the most united and hard-working bunch of people that you will find on
this continent, and given our current predicament is about as dire as
you can get, I am sure they will rise to the challenge to prove that
Ashtani spirit cannot be broken.

Give us time to come to terms with what we have lost, but remember we
are still here, we are still fighting, and we are far from beaten.
