Greetings,
For those of you who wish to disregard this post, feel free to go ahead
as it is addressed more specifically to those involved with the
Infernals/Sentinels.
-----
As you may have all noticed Ororoe's prior post misquoting me to a
degree and all the rest of it, I will break this down into more detail
for those concerned.
- The City of Enorian views both the Sentinel and Infernal guilds as
"warring militias", as a result neither will be welcome within the walls
of the city for the duration of this conflict.
- Given Enorian's stance towards the Infernals and those of Darkness in
general, this only really affects the Sentinels.
- For the duration of the conflict, both parties will have law-protected
guest status revoked until this has seen conclusion.
What this means in practice is:
- The warring parties will be asked to leave the walls of the Beacon on
sight.
- Those who are shopkeepers of any shops within the limits of Enorian's
walls will be allowed to conduct business as usual, provided it is done
in a timely manner.
- Infractions on the city's sanctuary laws will be regarded harshly:
ignorance is not an excuse.
The city of Enorian will not be:
- Ordering Sentinels out into the blades of the Infernal Knights. Any
Infernal(s) pursuing a Sentinel within the city's limits will be asked
to allow the Sentinel(s) to leave the city freely. Once they are a
reasonable distance away from the city's limits, we will intervene no
further.
- Granting permission to Infernal Knights to engage Sentinels within the
limits of the city: all fighting over this particular instance will be
kept outside of the city's walls.
In short, the warring parties will not be welcomed within Enorian until
after the current conflict has been resolved one way or another.
Those of Sentinel leadership wishing for the reasoning of this stance or
questions about this stance may contact myself or another Herald be it
by message or in person.
While I am sure without a doubt that some bitter beings will attempt to
cast aspersions on Enorian's integrity in the face of this decision, I
am rather comfortable in saying that certain decisions the Sentinels
have made have ensured that this is none of Enorian's business, nor do
we wish it to be so.
I cannot emphasise enough that this stance is as temporary as the
conflict between the two guilds remains, once it has seen conclusion
things will be back to normal.
Thank you for your time,
- Kylan Silverain
