Two, Alone

Written by: Lady Anasses Duses, Cold Moon's Mistress

You found me, small, scared, and alone
And reached out your hand to me
To offer me all that you had -
Your friendship - to set me free.

You, too, small, scared, and alone
So afraid to find pain,
But daring to give your heart
To another again!

And now, storm-weary and beaten,
I cling to you, my one friend,
With my heart and my every bit of hope
And know that the storms shall end.

Now together we wait-out the storms
Through the lightning, thunder, and the rain -
To confide in eachother all our dreams,
But to share our beauty, instead of our pain.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Chakros, in the year 68 MA.
