Fate Has Deaf Ears
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fate has me twisted
All in a bind
Fumbling, rambling
Forsaken and blind
Churning with madness
In a sea of despair
Pointing all fingers
But nobody's there
I'm finding life sallow
Shrunken, diseased
If god ever looks down
He'll hardly be pleased
He blinked for a moment
And mankind grew wings
Despoiled the Heavens
Made terrible things
Perhaps he has seen us
But doesn't let on
Ashamed of his children
The father is gone
Now we're abandoned
On cobweb-lined shelves
Who needs Armageddon
If we slaughter ourselves?
While some may find riches
Glory, or fame
I'm just Fate-twisted
Rambling his name
Thanks everyone for reading!
