heat and flame

rue

days spent unclaimed, unwild, aimless
drifting, unfinished conversation
tumbling over my tongue onto your

lips

red, cherry red, dripping desires
unsatiated, a hunger, a drive, a lust
driven deep within my

breast

craving your scent, wild, feral, soft
skullcap and kuzu, mud, rain, the tantalizing
smell of the hunt, the kill, the blood

races

i drift...my heat is my prison,
rays of sunlight catching your
rugged frame, eyes alert, spear ready
under thick jungle canopy, prey
elusive...wild and free, we
live...

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Severin, in the year 121 MA.
