The Destruction of the Temple and Sekhtet's Death

Written by: Duchess Auvira Gravz Lunare, Mystery's Poet
Date: Monday, December 15th, 2003
Addressed to: Everyone

Fordrock, Devil, what have you done?
You were put down today
Yet you still had to hurt us
And you removed our joy this way

Sekhtet now lies in silent grave
In the desert ruins deep
And Niuri has left us for a time
Even the Divine can weep.

And so we wander aimlessly
Through the empty plains
We try and understand what has happened
And to ease our Lady's pain

Fordrock you knew what you did
You wanted to hurt Niuri
And if I ever find you again
You shall feel my Consanguinic fury

Not only did you take from us
Our Beloved priestess sweet
You hurt the heart of our Great Lady
And made her cry at our stricken feet

Great Lady I do beg you
As you cry alone today
For she that has now fallen
And left us straight away

Remember we do love you
Your children on this Plane
And we will always follow
And share your grief and pain.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Slyphian, in the year 116 MA.
