You can't be gone.

I guess that I'm too late, I know
and was it really all for show?
How true was it?
How can I tell?
or should we condemn love as well?

Not that it matters, now you're gone,
reminding you to move along
But how can I?
Let go of every second spent,
Every laugh and merriment
of how we travelled wide and far
and sang and danced beneath the stars...

It's too much,
I can't take it anymore!

You can't be gone
How can I mourn
If you're standing next to me,
haunting me,
Taunting me
You can't be gone!

So this will be my cruel fate,
tormented, I was too late
and now my paper heart is torn
It cannot be, you can't be gone.

-Phobos, to whom it may concern.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Ios, in the year 113 MA.
