I
I picked
I picked a
I picked a flower
I picked a flower today
Gazing steadfast at the off-white petals
Perfect and flawed, two, in their fragility.
I picked a flower today.
Today, I picked a flower.
The stem violently twisted until-
(snap)
Today, I picked a flower
The infinitesimally minute second
That my mind ordered my fingers
To sever-
Simplicity, is omnipresent.
Simplicity, is mislaid.
Whisked away by a zephyr, a lost blossom flies.
Flies towards another
Simplicity, is lost.
I picked a flower today-
And thought of you.
In love, in life
Sharing simplicity-
Sharing the sensation of simply-
Picking a flower.
Caressing a leaf
Absorbing the sun.
Taking three seconds.
(hands held)
To experience the wind caress across each region
Of your face, your closed eyes.
Love, in its total brilliance
Its majestic, encompassing nature
Often loses simplicity.
World, in its size
As small as misunderstanding and as large as alone.
Often loses simplicity.
Will you pick a flower with me?
Will you share my simplicity?
I picked a flower today
I picked a flower.
I picked a.
I picked.
I.
