Releasing of Knowledge

Written by: Daughter of Fortune, Melicent Kemestar - O'Lyryus

The Gates have been blown open
Releasing to the world
The city on ancients to whom
The secrets of the past were given to hold

Knowledge beyond our comprehension
Suddenly becoming part of our possesion
Leaving us scrambling with apologies
For society's apparent regression

One grumbling old man, who would have thought?
Who behind his insulting facade
Held the keys to a new way of life
While he verbally sparred

And now we seek to catch all that we've lost
Researching and seeking in all avenues
Though our brains might be undeveloped
We may continually strive to try and improve

And through our discovery
Led by mere mortals of this past
May we discover our potential
And higher knowledge at last.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Haernos, in the year 107 MA.
