Bound in your painting

I painted up your portrait,
With the paint etched in my head.
From the moment I first saw you,
The vision stained my mind.
In my dreams I felt your breathing,
In my hands I held your waist.
With my eyes set upon you,
I wandered to your realm.
Your voice is soft and fading,
But your words are bold and true.
Many times they have caught me,
and trapped me in your spell.
When I pressed my lips against you,
You quickly stole my heart.
What's the price of all my dreaming?
Why am I left so alone?
I have never seen such beauty,
I have never felt so much pain.
This will only hold some essence,
When my dreams get out the way.
When I wake I must seek you,
For the worst they ever told me,
Was that I may never find you,
And my being might drift away.
But when heaven finally finds me,
Surrounded in your wings.
I hope the smell of forests claims me,
And I can't think of anything else.
So I will only ask you once,
Can I be the one who holds you.
Alone you stand in that picture,
It's time someone filled that space.
Penned by my hand on the 9th of Chakros, in the year 104 MA.
