Heartsong

Let me speak not with words,
And hear our heartsong.
That was etched in our souls,
We have sang all along.

Let me speak not with words,
Watch love fade away,
In our garden, by roses,
On one perfect day.

Hold us forever in your gaze,
Close your maudlin heart,
Memories beautiful and faded,
Time cursed us from the start.

Let us speak not with words,
But hear our hearts' cry,
We tried to let it go,
By looking to the sky.
