So you've shown me what it feels like to be
You truly think you have a real claim on me?
I'm not running from my past any longer
Thanks to you my will is stronger

I've got a reason to live, and yet a reason to die
If you want to break me I'd like to know why

Running from the pain and bloodstains on my hands
I found you travelling alone through the lands
Regretting a lot yet glad of your decision
You've mended my heart with amazing precision

I'm standing my ground against what I've always thought was fear
Trying to protect all of that which I now hold dear
You as well I hold close to my black little heart.
I've never hoped but I think it's time I start.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Lleian, in the year 102 MA.
