What's left

Written by: Iluvatar Lionel, the Surreal

I have everything in my life,
My friends,
My family,
My Guild,
Everyone who cares.

Yet,
Here I stand,
Alone.

I do not regret,
The things I have done,
That have gotten me where I am,
My thoughts betray me,
My words reveal my soul to all.

I thought I was clear,
My intentions now clouded,
Not even I know where I'm going,
Strangely I don't mind.

I'm losing myself,
Slowly,
Here I can not remain,
I have nothing left,
Everyone is gone,
And here I stand,
Alone.

They said they cared,
They would be there for me,
Where are they now?
Not here,
Not with me.

Being alone,
Not so bad as most might claim,
I am alone,
My soulmate,
The road I walk on,
My bed fellow,
The rain, the wind, the trees, the grass,
Alone I wander.

My intentions of a short goodbye are gone,
So I'll cut to the quick,
I'm gone,
Like the sun behind the clouds,
Like so much of my hope.

I have nothing left,
I am alone,
I am gone.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Lleian, in the year 101 MA.
