Lightning converges
Grey clouds high
Ominously merging
Darkness for miles

Ran into insanity
Dark copse engulfing
Hoplessly lost along the way
Thunder loudly rolling

Not a lot of hope left
Waiting here for you
Hanging from a high up cleft
Falling through the blue

Land not on my feet
But upon my back
Strength is quickly leaving me
A bother to get on track

My home is burning to the ground
Water, an ineffectual douse
Curl up and cry, without a sound
My life collapsed with a single house

~Young Apple Tree, Lyne Vespertine

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Haernos, in the year 98 MA.
