Poetry News Post #1591

on friendship

Written by: Lady Rosalind Fiadhaich, Harvest Moon

Forests dark and deep
Ensnare even the most
Loyal souls, but you
Found me when I just needed
Someone to make me feel whole.

Hope springs from within
Your eyes, though colourless they
Seem, much like the scars
That dance across your scales like
Forgotten lace, stained with blood.

Words cannot express
The gratitude I owe you,
Nor can I repay
Everything you've given me,
Quiet, beautiful friendship.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Lleian, in the year 215 MA.
