She knows who she is

MY ROPE

Teach me,
Tell me what it is that makes the world,
Show me how it feels to breath,
Help me see the glimmer of light in all the darkness,

Blind me,
So that I may never see a greater brilliance of that such as yours,
Burn a fiery image of your blooming face like the soft pedals,
Of a white rose faintly seen by twilight,
Soundlessly screaming a beauty unadorned,

Pain me,
Scratch me, cut me, bleed me, burn me,
Pain me so that I may know that this is real,
And not a romantic fools dream,
Of life better then that without life,
Look in my cup,
And you shall find water,
Look in my mind,
And you shall find clouds,
Look in my heart,
And you shall find happiness,
Search my soul,
And you'll find no taint,

I am the one,
Who knows your colour,
I am the one who watches you smile,
Never doubt that which I feel,
Ever taught,
The rope of my love,

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Ios, in the year 181 MA.
