Forgotten...

Written by: Sister Kora, Sentaari Initiate

Addressed to: Everyone

T'was a time I roamed freely...
Proudly, my spirit strong and vibrant with hope
Arrogant, mayhap, but with justification

Despair overcame me...
My thoughts shadowed, uncertain, hidden even from me
Though my body was young, my soul had aged
My spirit broken, I became overwrought with disgust in myself
Everyone was my enemy

Little is changed now
Save that I am wiser, and waiting
My despair is derived from my unimportance...
Those who remember me are gone, and dead...

Is there naught anyone who can free me from myself..?
No...
There is only the waiting..,
And the sorrow, in being forgotten...

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Niuran, in the year 179 MA.
