I know I am a writer.
I carry a little notebook everywhere
To write down snippets
And snappets
Of everyone's brains that I hear.

I know I am a writer.
And I am a reader, too,
A former proud bookworm
Who read anytime I had the chance.
Now I have no time.

I know I am a writer.
But I have no articulation.
I know how I feel, and I know what I mean,
And cannot say it, unless
Angry, or frustrated.

I know I am a writer.
They keep all hours
I myself am writing this
So early in the morning
When I should be asleep.
