The spirit

She was the spirit the guided,
The hand that taught.
Twice I called her mine.
Twice I lost her.
A time long past,
Only distant memories to a few.
The first of His.
Guiding with a voice
Guiding with a strength..
An example to some.
I thought I meant more.
What once was, could never be again.
Hope fading..
A time long past
Her time past..
And in it, she pasted on.

Rest well Arafel.
Some of us did love you.
Some overlooked the loud words
Some understood.
Rest well..Lion that watched over the cougar.
The cougar that was too loud, learning in time
to stalk not pounce...
Rest well.. Soon others may join you in peace.

Lady Zephy Duses

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Chakros, in the year 168 MA.
