-Breaking Through-

Skin is pale, so cold and white
So lonely - Bring on the night
Drown my sorrows in alcohol
This ain't a free-for-all

Will it be better this time 'round?
I think I'm breakin' down
I'll be there for you
Even though my heart is black and blue

I left you there to wonder
Am I slipping under?
Why am I so pathetic?
You won't let me forget it

You light my way, you guide my life
You took my hand and dropped the knife

Is it a crime for living?
A crime for love that I be givin'
How can I believe...
When all the others leave?

I call your name. It's not OK
The silence burns through my veins
Your love is the only thing that's sound
You held me close as my dreams crashed to the ground.

Love--

-Elijah Imperil

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Arios, in the year 153 MA.
