Thoughts

I walked across Sapience by myself
Checking the books on every shelf
I saw very little of what was life
Only felt the struggles and the strife

I walked in Sapience with you my friend
And saw for the first time again
All the wonders of those books
That I had missed on the first look
We travelled the Prelatorian highway
Doing quests and bashing along the way
And the mountain peaks from across the land
Had never before shown themselves so grand

In our busy lives we still found time to be together
To talk, and share our dreams with each other
We enjoyed companionship, understanding and trust
And I hoped these things would never change between us.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Severin, in the year 153 MA.
