Passion

Passion consumes us,
We cannot control it,
We cannot hide from it.

Passion can act as an elixir,
Or as a poison, ripping your heart away.

Passion is neither kind and benevolent,
Or is it cruel and unwholesome.

The villain when the heart is broken,
The savior when one is saved.

Do not fear passion, and try to run,
But accept it, be one with it and endure it's malice.

For in truth, one can find hope,
Be true to yourself and passion will work with you.

You can't get rid of passion,
You can find happiness but you are always enslaved.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Khepary, in the year 148 MA.
