Touched

You touched my heart, as you touched my body
Softly, sweetly, the silent passion in my soul
You touched my pain, as you touched my lips
Gently, passionately, the tenderness of my dreams

You touched me, as noone else has touched me
With compassion, with tenderness, with love
And so quickly, as swiftly as you did come to me
You left my arms again, and I was touched.

You lied to me, you said forever
You took my heart as you turned away
You took my love as you turned away
You took my trust as you turned away

I am nothing now, and these my last words
I am a shell of what I was before your touch
I am half of a soul, my other half is gone
And with it goes your touch

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Severin, in the year 146 MA.
