Plume so soft and dark as the night
Why does the black swan play in the light?
Would you believe that she changed her ways
hiding from a past that had seen dark days

Little white clouds and frozen tears
Why does the black swan run from her fears?
Why do you love her though she can't fly
staring into the snow at unattainable sky
