A new merchant has recently set up shop in Delos, selling rare and
powerful Ankyrean artifacts. Stop by and take a look at what he has to
offer. HELP ARTIFACTS provides some important details you'll want to
know.

As well as selling artifacts, Qeddwyn has the ability to upgrade your
artifacts by imbuing them with additional potent artifact powers. In
this way you could acquire, for example, robes of the magi that also
hide you from the who list and give you the shroud ability (veiled
shadowy robes of the magi). Or a runed steel longsword that delivers a
random venom and heals you for a portion of all damage it inflicts
(ravenous runed steel longsword of the asp). As you may have guessed,
the name of the artifact changes based on the artifact powers with which
it's been imbued.

Qeddwyn is still fleshing out his inventory, so if you don't see
something you're looking for, feel free to e-mail varian@aetolia.com and
I'll see that it is made available. Please let Me know as well if you
notice anything quirky about existing or new artifacts - there are bound
to be some wrinkles with the new system.
