Hi folks,
We've just added some extra support for our players that use a screenreader to help them play Aetolia.
Firstly, a new help file exists under the HELP SCREENREADER command. This covers things such as the way Aetolia represents syntax, so you can better config your screenreaders.
Additionally, we've added a new chat channel dedicated to support for screenreader users. This channel is on by default for those with our screenreader config turned on, but you can choose to opt-out or opt-in separate from this config as well. Commands are as follows:
SCR <message>, to talk on the channel.
SCRTELLS, to view the channel history.
SCRON, to turn the channel on.
SCROFF, to turn the channel off.
These changes come from feedback given to us by one of our screenreader-using players. We actively seek advice on how we can improve our game for screenreader users, so please feel free to message Tiur or myself with any suggestions. Thanks!
