31.3.11 Wellspring Cavern

Beneath the red sands of Bonro lies a large aquifer from which all the Red Quarter's oases draw their life-giving waters. The Wellspring Cavern exists as a natural offshoot of that aquifer, a holy place considered sacrosanct and blessed by Kaj, the Child Accord of Water. Wellspring Cavern is the only known source of kaladite, a crystalline blue mineral whose deposits span the entire length of the expansive underground holy site. Few make the Pilgrimage of Wellspring anymore, yet the faithful can still bathe in the cavern's sacred pool and look upon the shrine of Kaj therein.
